LawnBott Robotic Lawn Mower

I’ve often dreamt about these. And now here they are, in North America - robotic lawn mowers! You don’t ride them - I guess you just turn them on, go get your drink, and catch some rays while they take care of your grass.
Apparently, they’re so quiet, you can even run them at night. Hmmm. Yeah. Right. Not sure what the Neighbour From Hell would think of that one.
“The LawnBott’s are electric, producing zero-emissions, and quiet, so they can operate any time of day or night and not disturb the neighbors. Small and lightweight, at only 21 lbs. for the Evolution model, they can mow around obstacles and within narrow pathways and cover lawns of up to Âľ of an acre. Once programmed, they will mow your lawn everyday. When the LawnBott starts its cutting cycle, it leaves the docking station and begins to cut the yard in a random pattern, if its battery starts to get low, LawnBott will return to recharge itself without any human intervention!”

This is the cats meow for mowing. I have the Evolution model of this mower and it is truly quiet enough to run at night. When I spoke to the people who sold it to me (http://www.probotics.com) I have to admit that I was skeptical but everything that they told me was right on the mark. I am now “mow free” and it does the job better than I could. My “nice” tractor riding neighbor says he is giving it a year before they look into one. What a waste of time and sweat! I always see him glancing over at “Trimmy” while he merrily mows along.

We installed one for our house 2 years ago. Our neighbor came over and gave us the top 10 reasons why this thing would not work. He is one of those retired types that mows his yard 2-3 times a week. Then about 2 months ago he installed a robotic lawn mower for his yard. Now his grass gets mowed almost every day.
