Canine Evaporative Cooling Vest
Poor puppies, imagine only being able to cool down by sticking out your tongue? It makes sweat seem almost like a luxury doesn’t? This vest uses evaporative cooling to keep your pooch comfy during the summer. The vest is made of three layers of polyester that combine hydrophilic and hydrophobic fibers that, when soaked in water and worn by your dog can keep him or her cool for up to two hours.
The outer air mesh layer conducts body heat away from a dogs body, the middle layer absorbs and holds cool water, while the inner layer actually cools your dog.

“Generously cut to provide a relaxed, custom fit, the vest slips over a dogs head and attaches across the breast, and adjusts to a dogs exact girth using the included buckles. The vest reflects sunlight, heat, and ultraviolet rays.”

I have 2 cats. City cats. Which means that they cannot roam free and hunt at their leisure. No. They must get all done up in their harnesses, then be attached to a leash. Which then proceeds to get tangled around table and chair legs, me, and the both of them. I see real possibility in the Cat Veranda. I’ll still take them outside, because despite the moments of chaos and ridiculousness, they’re pretty darn cut out there, and they really love to be out. But this could be the perfect alternative for times when I’m too busy to be outside with them, like when I’m posting to GadgetLiving.
